Busy week

Lower panel stained. Everything will get coated with several coats of marine epoxy to give it a nice glossy finish.
Another angle.
A view from the galley side. The square represents where the divider will go to separate the cooler from storage on the right. The cooler will be on a slide out to be easier to access.  Most likely the stove will end up on the right side with some cookware.
Here is the face frame with the stiles for the three doors and a coat of the stain blend.
This is the start of the upper cabinet face frame. The cabinet will have three doors and be about 11 inches deep. There will be doors on the galley side so essentially will be a pass thru access from either side.

This is the divider panel that our feet will be up against. It creates the lower back wall of the galley. Its made of 3/4 inch tounge and groove pine. It is glued to the floor with more PL adhesive and screwed in place.

We had to make a decision on a finish for all the wood we are adding and want it to blend in with the different color variations of the cedar strips. The left is a walnut stain and the right is no stain- just epoxy. I thought the walnut was too barn board brownish and wanted something redder tone. I ended up blending a stain called "gunstock" with the walnut and think it's just right.
